The discipline is dedicated to familiarizing students with ways of analyzing language, discourse, communication specific to different contexts, in order to analyze their specific features and at the same time improve their own communication skills. This includes familiarization with the specificity of language, discourse and generic features related to a given communication context, as well as the development of communication skills with the purpose of communication in mind, with a focus on generic features of discourse structuring and context appropriateness.
The discipline addresses genre analysis methodology to analyze the characteristics of authentic communication in context. The discipline familiarizes the student with the requirements of project teamwork, presentation and evaluation of research in teams, identification of areas of interest for further research and/or diversification.
