Antonia Enache is an Associate Professor with the Department of Modern Languages and Business Communication at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She holds a PhD in Philology from the University of Bucharest (2006), an MA in European and International Relations and Management (University of Amsterdam, 2001) and an MA in Applied Linguistics (University of Bucharest, 1998). She is the author of several books in the field of political communication, such as Discursive Practices in Barack Obama’s State of the Union Addresses (2017), Political Communication (co-author, 2013) and Promisiunea politic (2006) and has made numerous contributions to specialized scientific journals. Her main areas of interest include applied linguistics, political communication, economics, business communication and translation studies.
