Course Description
The discipline facilitates the acquisition of knowledge of British and American cultures and societies in the context of international relations, as well as the development of the capacity for understanding, critical thinking, comparison, analysis and synthesis, for linguistic and cultural mediation in professional contexts of international economics. Students also practice their study, evaluation and self-evaluation skills, apply principles, norms and values of academic ethics and fairness in order to realize a rigorous, efficient and responsible work strategy. In carrying out work tasks, students improve their accuracy and fluency in oral and written communication in English in academic and professional contexts, in the application of individual and teamwork skills.
