Course Description
The main aim of the discipline of study is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge about linguistic rules of correct communication in English and the development of skills in the use of linguistic registers and variants adapted to the context in order to participate effectively in acts of communication performed in various professional and cultural contexts. Theoretical discussions and practical activities on the morphology of English are structured in such a way as to ensure the improvement of accuracy and fluency in oral and written communication in English in academic and professional contexts, and the development of skills in adapting language to a variety of contexts. In addition, the development of transferable academic and professional skills, such as independent learning and team-working skills and study, assessment and self-assessment skills, is encouraged.
