Course Description
The discipline of study is structured in such a way as to facilitate the development of oral and written communication skills in English in order to improve specialized translation/interpretation skills and written and spoken mediation skills in the philological field. Theoretical discussions and applied activities on the syntax of English and the similarities and differences between the formal and informal registers support the improvement of accuracy and fluency in oral and written communication in English in academic and professional contexts and the development of adaptive language skills in a variety of contexts. In addition, the delivery of course and seminar activities and the proposed projects are aimed primarily at developing transferable skills such as autonomous learning and team-working skills or individual study, assessment and self-evaluation skills.
