Course Description

This discipline provides the acquisition of basic knowledge about interculturality in business communication in the French-speaking world, as well as the development of the ability to understand, think critically, analyze and synthesize reference materials in the field of interculturality, for linguistic and cultural mediation in business communication. It includes the presentation, comprehension and comparative analysis of texts, images, films, audio and video materials essential for cultivating intercultural competence. Students develop their skills of study, evaluation and self-evaluation through the application of principles and values of academic ethics, in order to realize a rigorous, efficient and responsible work strategy. In carrying out work tasks, students develop teamwork skills by identifying and assuming roles and responsibilities and by applying effective work and interpersonal techniques. Students exercise written and oral French, improving their accuracy and fluency, as well as elements of translation.
