Course Description
The discipline provides the consolidation of essential knowledge about interculturality in business communication in the French-speaking area, as well as the development of the ability to understand, think critically, analyze and synthesize a selection of materials in the field of interculturality, for linguistic and cultural mediation in the context of business communication. It includes the presentation, comprehension and comparative analysis of written texts (literary or business), images, films, audio and video materials essential for the cultivation of intercultural competence. In this discipline, students also strengthen their study, evaluation and self-evaluation skills by applying principles and values of academic ethics in order to realize a rigorous, efficient and responsible work strategy. In the realization of work tasks, students develop academic and scientific work skills, correlated with the practical field of international business and economics. Students practice written and oral French, improving their accuracy and fluency, as well as elements of translation.
