Course Description
The discipline is dedicated to the acquisition of the knowledge necessary to communicate in professional situations, providing students with the possibility to define, describe and explain the structure of the language from a functional perspective and its adaptation to the characteristics of professional communication situations in the economic and business field. The focus is on identifying the cultural and professional coordinates of communicative situations, analyzing and constructing discourse/text according to generic and functional elements. The discipline also focuses on the development of students’ critical thinking skills, on the dynamics of the teaching-learning process, promoting rigorous academic communication by developing the ability to describe, explain, compare theoretical and practical aspects, to use French terminology specific to the professional fields of application concerned.
