Course Description

The subject aims to develop the ability to understand, think and critically analyze reference materials in the field of contemporary culture and civilization for linguistic and cultural mediation in professional contexts of international economics, as well as to understand the concepts of cultural intelligence, cultural diversity, etc. Beyond general cultural landmarks, the discipline pursues intercultural communication in a diverse world, deferred from the European cultural model, starting from typological frameworks based on authority (Thailand, Japan, Korea); based on equality (Denmark, Sweden); based on the development of financial markets (USA, UK); or following the idea of “cheft national cultures” (Belgium, Malaysia).
