The subject aims to develop oral and written communication skills in French and professional written and oral interpretation/translation and mediation skills in the legal field by providing students with knowledge of the typology and characteristics of legal discourse; developing the ability to understand reference materials in the field of linguistics applied to various institutional and legal contexts; developing skills in understanding/analyzing/interpreting legal discourse (written legal documents, radio and TV broadcasts on legal topics); developing professional oral and written communication skills in specific legal contexts: contract negotiations, pleading cases, legal advice meetings with foreign clients; integrating autonomous learning with effective cooperation in working groups.
