
Dominic Negrici has a PhD in philology (University of Bucharest, 2012, with a thesis on cinema and literature in the work of Alain Robbe-Grillet). He is currently university reader (French-English) at the Department of Modern Languages and Business Communication at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. A graduate of the French Lycée “Anna de Noailles” and of the University of Bucharest, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in French. Masters studies in Bucharest (Intercultural Communication within the Department of Intercultural and Interfaith Exchanges – UNESCO) and in Paris (Literature and discourse at the University of Paris-Est). Comenius Assistant in Catalonia, Spain, during the 2010-2011 academic year. New Europe College alumnus (2013-2014), with a study on the vector of science fiction as a cultural vocation. Independent researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, United States (2014-2015). Literary translator, author of various scientific and press articles on French and universal literature, cinema, futurology, artificial intelligence, and pop culture.
