Course Description
The subject is essential in the context of Romania’s economic and political integration into Europe, providing students, as future active citizens of the European Union, with a solid foundation of knowledge in the field of EU law. The aim is to familiarize students with the specific language of EU law, facilitating its understanding and correct use. Throughout the course, students will deepen the evolution of the European construction process, learning about the organization and functioning of each European institution. At the same time, the course aims to develop their ability to analyze and interpret texts from legal publications and news about contemporary EU processes, strengthening their legal culture. Thus, the subject contributes to the formation of a broad and up-to-date understanding of European legislative dynamics, essential for students’ active and informed involvement in EU processes and for a career in areas requiring European legal skills.
