Antoaneta Lorentz is a Professor at the Department of Modern Languages and Business Communication, the Faculty of International Business and Economics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Her works (books, textbooks, courses, studies, articles, glossaries, dictionaries, translations, paper presentations at conferences, colloquiums and seminars) and participation in numerous national or international research projects reflect her sustained interest in the following research directions: theoretical linguistics, contrastive linguistics, linguistics applied to the foreign language teaching methodology (FLE, FOS, ESP, RFL), specialized languages, terminology and specialized translation, the application of new information and communication technologies in the teaching/learning of foreign languages, professional and intercultural communication, etc. She is a member of the REALITER Pan-Latin Terminology Network.
