Course Description

The discipline aims to develop effective communication skills in a wide range of professional and cultural contexts, through the use of specific linguistic registers and variants in speaking and writing. This includes the acquisition of economic knowledge and the development of communication skills in order to develop competences in academic and professional contexts.
The focus is on increasing the ability to understand and critically analyze economic texts, developing argumentation and debating skills, and translating texts for professional purposes, covering topics such as market economics and competition, globalization, cultural issues in international business, ethics and social responsibility.
The discipline aims to encourage autonomous learning integrated with effective teamwork and to develop interdisciplinary research skills.
The discipline contributes to the training of specialists able to perform in an environment where professional communication and knowledge of specialized terminology are very important.
