Course Description

The discipline is dedicated to deepening knowledge of general and specialized English. It aims to acquire specialized terminology in the field of economics – aspects of customer relations and intercultural communication in the corporate business environment, management and leadership, financial vocabulary, etc. The emphasis is on acquiring knowledge of cultural diversity in international business environments, developing skills in understanding and analyzing oral and written business texts in English, developing communication skills in English by learning how to deal with clients and colleagues in a multilingual and multicultural business environment, developing intra-disciplinary research skills and developing autonomous and team learning skills.
The discipline deals with the development of written and oral texts in English in order to successfully cope with the demands of the international academic and professional environment and contributes to the expansion of English language skills for the development of communication skills in academic and professional contexts.
